I’m completely useless when it comes to doing anything with my hair. I had a weird, kind of isolated childhood and feel like I missed out on learning to do stuff with my hair at the ages where people generally (?) learn that crap. I’ve never been anywhere to have it done, and am afraid that whatever someone did to it

If you’ve already eaten half of the box and haven’t gotten sick, it seems like that batch has a good chance of being a safe one. I say savor the delicious, ice cream sandwich-y goodness, but don’t share them with anyone who has a compromised immune system, just-in-case.

I’ve got a couple boxes of their lime ice pops in my freezer, and I’m kind of tempted to eat them anyway. I bought them last week, after all the initially recalled products had been pulled from the shelves, so these are probably a lower risk, right?

I got so excited when I saw this online this morning, and even more excited when I saw that it was needled felted. I’ve done a decent amount of needle felting, and am tempted to make my own (to look like one of my own cats). I’m just worried I’d keep messing up and end up with a lot of freaky, lopsided, tortured

You’re going to wake up with this head in place of your own, and your cat’s head will be changed to a tiny version of your head.

What sort of medical professional would recommend an exorcism in the first place???

I think that intelligence has less to do with it, since like you, there are obviously a lot of bright people who get drawn in. Maybe more of an exposure to different ideas, cultures, and values? In the religion I was raised in, at least, those were things that it seemed we were discouraged from considering. I’m glad

For me, religion is bogus but a Creator, God...is not.

That was my thought exactly. Religion played the main role in this horrific murder of a child, but lack of education had a lot to do with it as well. It’s hard to believe that ridiculous bullshit once you’ve been exposed to a semi-decent education.

I apologize in advance- I’m curious, and honestly not trying to sound like an asshole- but how do you believe what you believe when you see stuff like this on the news? If miracles happen, then why didn’t they happen for this poor kid? And if it was “God’s will” or something like that, why believe that the people

He CLAIMS that hundred of people have responded to him, at least. :/

Okay, now I need to know. What are “show dentures”? Are they teeth for the toothless guests, fancier/ less gnarly-looking dentures than the ones the guests show up with, or are they some sort of protective mouth gear that look like real teeth that protect the guests’ real teeth when they inevitably start beating each

I love tube-type mascaras... No 7 has one that is one step that I like, but it doesn't quite give the same dramatic effect the L'Oreal one does. But the two steps is just too much extra effort some mornings. :(

I've tried it and agree about the spiky effect. Now they have a new Miss Manga (in a yellow and black tube) that is supposed to give a spiky look, and I'm wondering how much more spiky it could be and if it would still look good.

I think the fact that it used to be one of the cheaper mass-market mascaras and the fact that it's been around forever has had a lot to do with its popularity. I used it when I was in my teens, since it was cheap, and my lashed looked great... but my lashes were naturally great in my teens. I bought it again a couple

I realize this is a very personal question that a lot of people would decline to answer, but I’m curious about what sort of stuff he asked that you burn. Without getting into specifics, was it evidence of crimes and/ or moral misdeeds, creative works, or just everyday personal letters?

I love the concept but hate lipstick palettes; they're not easy to carry around for touch-ups. I like Besame for lip colors inspired by history, but their collection is mostly from the 20s to 60s, I think.

The use of paints on the body and face has been around since before recorded history, and is something that seems to have been practiced in one form or another in the vast majority of cultures, even very isolated ones. I think it is more of a natural human behavior than a "trend," and don't see how it is inherently

I wanted to try beaded lashes, and looked into how they were done. Apparently they involved melting whatever waxy formula was used over a little flame, and applying it to the tips of the lashes while it was still melty? I have no idea to to recreate that with modern makeup products, but it is an interesting look that

(Fun fact: women were warned against using powders too often as it would either possibly clog their pores [sure], turn their skin yellow [what], or even paralyze then [what the shit are you even talking about]. As you can see, most of the medical warnings were totally bunk)
