There are many things about American culture that contribute to added weight, that I’ve only begun to understand since moving to a Nordic country. It’s not a morality issue (it shouldn’t be). It’s partially a public access and car culture issue.

Spoken like a guy who raped a woman at some point in his life.

So he’s rabidly pro-life and pro-”God don’t make mistakes”, but he’s a big supporter of the death penalty? How does someone reconcile these??

I’m pretty sure if we took all these rape statements and boiled them down to their essence, we’d get the true heart of the GOP: “Just let us rape.”

Is there a competition among these people for who can say the most offensive thing? I mean, really . . . he thinks pregnant one year olds are a) possible, b) likely enough to be mentioned, and c) ought to bear their rapist’s child? I really can’t decide which part of that is worst.

Uh, if a one year old got pregnant, she should definitely get an abortion.

That’s right, ladies. I know you’re frightened and uncertain, but rape is just the first step on a magical journey that ends with your child swaddled in your arms!

Yup...Mr. Valve just wandered through, took a peek, and said, “Why the hell doesn’t he shave that off?”

Well. Thanks for making scroll up to look at that again.

What is...Going on with this shit stain’s hair?

Sen. Rick Brattin (R) explained his vote by arguing that being forced to carry their rapist’s baby could be “healing” for victims.

Nobody in the history of mankind, especially a rapist and felon, has ever agreed to be a dictator for one day.

Realistically, any EO he signs is going to take at least an hour before the courts slap it down with an injunction. Imagine how much damage Trump’s cult could cause in an hour before the judicial system kicks into gear? “Well, the White House said that it was legal for me to kill non-white, non-Christians so I did.”

Executive orders and dictatorial fiats are not the same thing, no one is making that claim in the article, so let’s not pretend otherwise. EOs are still subject to law and review and can be overturned by the courts if deemed unconstitutional. By definition, whatever a dictator says becomes the law.

I think the issue for actresses is that all the roles go to the same five actresses. So if you’re in the age bracket of 30s those roles go to Emma Stone or Margot Robbie first. If you’re an actress in her 40s or 50s those roles go to Cate Blanchette. If you’re over 60 they go to Meryl Streep. If any of those actresses

This is not true:

Sigh...that comment is at least somewhat empathetic. But reading it has pissed me off all the same, because I HATE HATE HATE the idea that safe dump-off sites for babies, or even adoption, are some kind of answer to any of this. Sure, they’re better than the baby ending up in a shopping bag somewhere; of course they

100%

Moayedi is right. Sure, the ten year-old pregnant by her rapist is about the worst thing we can think of, but the bigger question to ask is: how is it ever good to force someone who’s not ready to be a parent to be a parent, at ten or forty or whatever? Sure, some people get it together for their unwanted babies and

Not really. One of the defenses to defamation is that whatever was said, is actually true. Trump is a walrus, a nothing, a man-baby.
