I think this is a very prudent, Nintendo-like choice. Considering his age, it’s very likely that he is seen as a solid temporary choice to help navigate a transition period toward new leadership. I’d be surprised if he remains Nintendo president for more than a year or two.

I wasn’t being sarcastic. So many on kotaku and their sister sites just post a video and that’s that, ‘here I found this video.’ Putting the important content in text is great.
Actually though, a post that serves no purpose but to redirect you to a video is frustrating and borderline dishonest. It is quite appreciated that this isn’t as bad as that.
