Please show me the news story from a reputable source about a man who merely told a coworker, “You look nice today!” or held a door open for people passing through and is now being lumped in with people groping their coworkers, exposing themselves to them, masturbating at them, or raping them. I’ll wait.

I’ve read through your original comment five times now, & I’m still trying to figure out which words she thinks are uppity 25¢ vocabulary that require a thesaurus. Contemptible? Cognitive?

Or rape, per Hugo Schwyzer.

French women are cool girls who don’t care about infidelity.

Don’t forget, they’re better mothers and lovers than we are too.

I think so too. Although, part of it is also that Abnousse Shalmani, one of the signatories, “has previously compared feminism to Stalinism.” So you know, part of it is also that some of these people are assholes.

The French in general seem to have a shitty attitude towards sexual harassment and abuse just in general.

I wonder if part of this is about women who would rather believe they were seduced than assaulted. It’s often easier to act like you were a willing participant than accept the reality. And if you are a woman of a certain age, it had to be damn near impossible to escape predators.

please god tell me this is the end of everybody wanting to be like those mythological French Women that hack journalists write articles about, that never get fat and always dress better than us.

What’s more romantic than watching your boss jerk off into a plant??? American women JUST DON’T GET IT!

10-1 this came about because of some back-channel lobbying by people who own the approved book vendors. The worst rent-seeking that goes on in this country, by far, takes advantage of prisoners and their families because they have few resources and no real constituency. Some of the restrictions that are in place

“Google’s management goes to extreme — and illegal — lengths to encourage hiring managers to take protected categories such as race and/or gender into consideration as determinative hiring factors, to the detriment of Caucasian and male employees and potential employees at Google,” reads the 161-page complaint.

Jane, the character, is the worst!

I’ll happily leave it alone in a room so as to never be subjected to it again.

I recently reread Jane Eyre and I think I dont like her? She’s a moral person, basically, but the way she watches and judges people... and don’t get me started on Mr Rochester, what a dick. His manipulations, his entitlement, bleh. They deserve each other imo.

You do realize those signs are not legal contracts right? Nothing was ever preventing the staff from entering your room and rifling through your stuff when you weren’t around and that has not changed.

As a “half my life in a hotel room” traveler, I’m shocked that the DND sign...ever really mattered? I almost always had hotel personnel check on me once a day, anyway, even if there is a sign on the door. Most hotels I’ve been at recently (Hilton and Marriott brand) have had those signs be “no service” or something

Being a particularly...morbid type of person, before I got to the guns part, I assumed they had a lot of people die with the do not disturb sign on their doors. My husband and I were discussing the other day how long it would take people to find our bodies if we died in the house. He thought two days, I thought much

Wow. This is spot on. Jonah would totally keep repeating buzz words, have to have his interview shut down, and be escorted out of the studio.

He’s not trying to convince anyone of anything. He’s trying to show Daddy Donald that he’s the most loyal henchman and deserves a fancy escort.
