Bleached flour has a softer texture. So, for some baked goods where tenderness is important, it makes a difference.
50% of people in the US between 25 and 54 are women. Therefore 50% of contestants are women?
Don’t diss the lipstick cake video till you’ve seen it. Mmmm lemony.
I sleep with my wedding band on. That’s about all the jewelry I wear to bed. I find even my fitbit to be uncomfortable & only wear it if I have a particular interest in the sleep tracking data for that night. (Like, if I’ve been sleeping restlessly for a few nights before.)
When one of my cats was drugged up, he kept trying to rub his face on my feet. But he’d miss and fall over. It was hilarious.
The airlines I’ve traveled on that have handed out blankets have them in sealed plastic wrap.

At this point, it still feels like a mess we can get out of by voting in 2018 & 2020. I don’t want to break the system. In fact, some of the scariest things to me have been the extent to which Trump & Co have been breaking existing bipartisan norms. To my mind, breaking the system makes recovery from this disaster…
