And has zero range.
And has zero range.
There’s gotta be room for one more “United” in this league. I really don’t feel like there are enough vaguely European naming conventions in MLS.
There’s a lot of people out there that don’t like Newton’s shtick and it’s not because he’s black. Plenty of black athletes are showboats and catch no shit for it. I think it has more to do with the position he plays. QBs are generally expected to be somewhat stoic field generals that come across as “serious business”…
ROLLERFUCKING
I just think that a producer altering a director’s work years after it was released (in the case of ROTJ, altering it after the director is dead) and presenting it as his “original vision” is kind of shitty. He had the same role with the Indiana Jones series, but I’m sure nobody would give him a pass if he decided to…
Lucas only changed one of his SW films. The other two weren’t directed by him.
I’m pretty sure that’s because of things like oversaturation, a terrible distribution system, a ridiculous price point compared to other forms of media, and the circular, lazy storytelling that comes from working with 75 year old trademarks owned by giant entertainment conglomerates which all but assures the status…
You’re probably thinking of Dani Moonstar. She was in the original New Mutants and had spent time as a valkyrie in Asgard (there are quite a few). The original Marvel valkyrie that operated on earth for many years in the Defenders was a Nordic looking woman.
And apparently the Mariners were vocally opposed to the arena deal even though they vacated a portion of that very same area to build Safeco Field.
I AIN'T SCARED OF NO ROLLY COASTER
Good shows get shitcanned all the time. Because you or I think a show or movie is good and we are willing to spend money to support it does not mean we aren't in the minority.
I definitely agree that the sexism angle added fuel to the fire and that sports radio in general is a lot of vitriol to begin with. I was listening to KJR the day of the vote and Softy was really, really pissed off. His main two points of contention were 1) Sawant and one other council member (don’t remember who)…
I listen to KJR on a somewhat regular basis and have not heard anyone make the kind of comments on the air that people are talking about. If someone can link me to audio of an on air death threat made to any of the council members on any Seattle sports station, I’d like to hear it.
Am I the only one that finds the thumbs as disturbing as the shirt? Like, who has a 45 degree angle “thumbs up”? I just tried to do that and it hurts.
As a southerner, I have never once been to a barbecue (either at a house or a BBQ joint) that served hush puppies. Not one of the local places I grew up with have them on the menu. Hush puppies are generally served at a fish fry, in my experience.
I almost fully agree with you. The only exception to this is a good brisket. There’s no other valid form of beef “BBQ”. And wtf are beef ribs? That's not real.
They think beef ribs are a thing that exists.
I'm 3 days late to this, but I will just let you all know that there is a thing called Brunswick Stew and it is an amazing BBQ side.
That’s partially it, but I think it was more to do with Marvel editorial’s stance on the issue. I’ve been reading comics for over 30 years. I know a stunt when I see one. But there are kids out there who probably don’t. It sucks to think that a black kid who sees a Cap that looks like them would get into comics…
Is it wrong that I bristled about Captain Falcon and the Jane Foster Thor as I did for the same reasons people shouldn’t get mad about Superior?
