My parents owned Tauruses from the first year they were made. My first car was a 1990 Taurus. They kept buying them until they were discontinued and brought back as basically a Crown Vic. My dad is still angry about the fish eyed ones (he owned two; I think my brother eventually totaled them both) and said they ruined

I drove both. Owned a 85 looked into a used 92? Turbo. The early models of the 2nd gen had the wrong length suspension arms in the back and made them have significant bump steer. As the poster talked about the car lost the tossiblity, the steering feel was numb and there was absolutely no way to predict what the rear

The biggest complaint I had was the headlight design. I could live with the changing proportions, but the nose just was too big a departure all at once to get really into it.

How in the flip does the Acura TL stay off this list?

The 14 year old me would still be excited to watch either of those shows.

Fun little story about this car: Back in 1984 we were on a family vacation to Hawaii. We were staying in the Hilton Hawaiian Village on Oahu; we had a balcony suite about 10 floors up overlooking the pool. On our second day there we woke up to see a roughly 10 foot by 18 foot windowless tiki hut floating  in the

ND at $798.50. Asking almost $8K with the convertible top in that shape is nuts.   Also, what’s up with the missing window crank handles?

If only there was a way to permanently silence that loudmouth fuckstain in charge of Tesla...

I can’t wait for the Luddite Editions to come out.

So on their list of possible VPs, this is the best they went with? Who were the others, Beavis, Butthead, and Spongebob?

I would probably have one as well. Used Model 3s with enough range for my daily activities are a good deal right now. But there is no way I want to be associated with musk or the maga truck.

You are not. The Model Y (and Cybertruck) is a locally made product to me, which I’d be happy to buy if it didn’t mean giving money to Musk, who has apparently promised to then give it directly to Donald Trump.

Elon is the only reason I don’t have a Tesla sitting in my driveway right now. I can’t be the only one.

Not a fan of either but Zuc will STOMP Musk

if i were shopping for cars, i certainly wouldnt be able to pass up a deal like that. drive that thing home that day, and keep passively shopping for the next deal i want...

It’s what EVs probably should be.  A basic car with no fancy BS.

It’s certainly not the new EV I’d buy, and even more certainly not the used EV I’d buy. But to have it for 2 years on a wicked cheap lease? Hell yeah.

Seriously. I’m not sure what makes Americans at least seem to be so uniquely irrational about out our car purchases. If people bought what they needed for 95% of their driving and minimized total cost of ownership, the top-selling cars would be the Prius, Leaf, Kona/Niro EVs; Civics and Corollas would make their way

If this was real and I qualified, it would be a no brainer to take it. 90% of my driving is boring crap and a boring crap car can do it as well as a Ferarri.

The Leaf is a great car for many, many people. Probably most.
