This is my dream choir.
This is my dream choir.
I'm not sure what you all mean by "grown-up" parties. I'm your age, my friends are all in their late 20s or early 30s, and our parties are basically the same as before: great music, some dancing, drinking and a lot of silliness. Sure, the booze is better quality and we maybe drink a little less, but otherwise there's…
I'm the opposite - I don't like pastry pie crust, just crumb crust. So custard, mousse and ice cream pies are in, but not so much the others (or I'll just ditch the crust and eat the filling).
I was just about to post this. It's basically my favourite.
This happened to my friend! Her ex and his new gf moved into the building across the street and made a point to tell her he could see into her apartment from his balcony. Strangely, he didn't think that was at all inappropriate — and neither did his gf!
I've been looking for a bold lip colour — I usually do clear lip balm or nude — and after an hour trying on basically everything at Sephora, I discovered neon hues are apparently the only ones that suit me. So hot pink and orange it is! Glad they're in style.
Depends on the situation? Definitely flirt — that part is fun anyway — which should help things along. But after a certain amount of time, if nothing's happening, it's worth being a little more direct so you can decide whether to cut your losses.
Not a permanent solution, but you can buy this stuff at running stores called Body Glide (sounds dirty, I know) that keeps shoes and clothes from chafing. It comes in stick form, like a small deodorant.
I don't know what kind of bikinis you've been wearing but I swim laps in mine and everything stays put.
Actually, you're way off. Quebec is far more progressive - and largely opposed to the monarchy since, you know, it's British. Plus, Montreal is one of the most avant-garde and creative cities in the country.
As others have pointed out, the reason Fassbender, Levitt and Gosling aren't getting as much backlash - though of course they still get some - is that so far, they're linked to a single transgression. (In Fassbender's case, it's not even clear whether the allegations are true.) Otherwise, they've been pretty OK. Ditto…
Yeah, that's how I see it too. This woman wasn't getting what she wanted out of her relationship, so she got out. And now she's telling her ex that her actions are none of his damn business. Sounds reasonable to me!
Except all those things were posted here and keep being brought up when any of these people are mentioned. So there's that.
Well, clearly she has a great mind for strategy and so on, which is a type of intelligence. I have no idea how well she did in school or what education level she reached. But it's true she doesn't seem particularly articulate. Then again, it's not like she really has the opportunity to discuss abstract intellectual…
It does happen, though I can't remember if the guys I've dealt with ever used the word "feminist" or just said "I'm not sexist, but..." in the classic I'm-about-to-say-something-horrible setup.
Actually, there are plenty of terrible stereotypes in Adam Sandler's movies. I guess the only difference is that he doesn't try to paint his movies as true life lessons.
Yep. Happened to me in Panama - a van full of young bros. Didn't feel threatened and seeing my boyfriend sputter at being so totally overlooked made me laugh.
This. I fucking love salad. And honestly, I don't give a shit what some dude I'm dating thinks I should order. Plus, doesn't it seem particularly perverse to make yourself order a burger (or fries, or whatever) just because you want to *seem* like someone who orders what she wants? That's some extra level of…
I don't get it either. Valley girls had WAY more of an impact that some crazy stickers.
