Seeing a journalist call a politician/pundit on their lies is amazing, regardless of whether they're conservative or liberal. (Though of course I always prefer when it meshes with my views.)

It's a bluff, just like Sununu — if they say it's a win, maybe people will believe it's a win, just like he was doing with the numbers.

I would totally plant false info if I were her. Or at least tell people that I did — all the results without the hard work of keeping track of my lies.

I think we can all agree that everyone else is a terrible driver, regardless of where they come from.

For a long time, when the loonie was weaker, many businesses in Ottawa (and probably elsewhere) took American dollars at par, figuring it was win-win. So I don't see why the reverse shouldn't happen. Maybe it's a pride thing, or it just seems to go against the natural world order.

The problem, in my view, is that they trashed their teammate, not that they complained about the attention she got. They're totally right to call out the media for focusing on Lolo, and to attack the underlying prejudices, but dissing your teammate in public is bad form, especially when you just beat her.

I think we can agree the new commenting system sucks. :)

It's not so much that he didn't want to release it — though apparently that is the standard procedure — but that she huffily referred to others as "you people," which has really disdainful undertones.

I think we poke just as much fun at out-of-touch liberal women (ie, many celebrities).
