I agree with all of this except the unsalted raw almonds part. Give me aaaaall the salt. (My blood pressure is fine and my sodium levels are on the low side of normal.) Salt salt salt salt 

Yeah I swear eating alone is good for my mental health and it had nothing to do with me gorging myself on cheese fries (which rarely happens. Ok maybe like one step up from rarely and it’s not usually cheese fries but some other garbage food).

I think my annoyance stems from people trying to give me advice/butting into my medical condition because they’ve read things about type 2 and they don’t realize there are different types of diseases so their advice is irrelevant crap. Also, reading the phrase “dying of diabetes” in this article…

Yes I have heard of that! Adults who develop type 1 at a later age are often misdiagnosed as type 2 as well. Must be incredibly frustrating to get the wrong diagnosis

I really wish articles would specify which kind of diabetes. It’s obvious to me that the study is referring to type 2 diabetes, but I promise many, many people don’t know the difference between t1 and t2. And almost all of those people try to tell me I could just cure my diabetes with a better diet/more…
