Frank Turner recorded a pretty great song directly titled “Make America Great Again”, which worried me for a minute before I listened to it.

Wait, this is a transformer, isn’t it? It looks very much like a transformer.
We are getting closer to Rick and Morty’s Two Brothers movie, I think.
Also his Family Guy appearances were great back when Family Guy was itself any good.
Oh just fuck off. Go suck his dick or whatever. He might beat you up afterwards, but, I guess, that’s fine with you.
I don’t know why it pisses me off more than the rest of pop music’s acceptance of him, but him being on Lil Dicky’s “Freaky Friday” just really pushes my buttons. Sure, let’s have him on a comedy record. We are soooo ready to find this guy just hi-larious. And the idea of switching bodies with an abuser is just…
This is a wonderful show, a rare case of a comedy that, in my opinion, could’ve used a longer season to fully blossom. So many underused players, so many untold stories, so much potential to tell them.
I’m continuously surprised with the new trend of shows and movies portraying cocaine use as something casual and not at all leading to addiction. Is it... factual? Should I try it or something?
There is also Yazz (& the Plastic Revolution) who was semi-famous in the UK around the same time (and made a whopping #96 on the Hot 100), just to add to the confusion.
Ever thought how cool it would be if The Police covered “Fuck tha Police”?
I did. It was wonderful.
I’d rather play some Super Furry Animals.
Golden showers are great.
Because you recall the way it was used in Austin Powers 2?
I agree that this was tonally very off. You can’t have a lighthearted Luke/Danny adventure and then show a guy burning alive. Seriously, that’s some fucked up shit. Maybe it’s just me, but to me there’s precious little (maybe nothing) that scares me more than this way of dying. Showing it, so gratuitously, is just…
Oh wonderful, another heavy drama for the summer. Where are all the sitcoms? I need to balance out Dietland, The Handmaid’s Tale, Pose, Succession, Queen Sugar, and even Preacher and Elementary with something light, and for now I mostly have DuckTales and Whose Line.
I can sort of understand that impression, because there’s really nothing for her to do there. I bet Adams was just bored through the whole thing. I prefer Superman Returns, weird as it was, solely for giving Lois an actual storyline.
So, anyone going to that Civil War thing? I think it’s like a flashmob or something...
I maintain that the show should’ve ended after season 1. It was a great, fun, messy season with a ton of great visuals and jokes, it worked in many ways because of its scope: it felt like it was about a whole town. And then they got the cast cooped up in an apartment. And now - another small location. I guess the…
Damn. Think this is my favorite new show of the year, at least at this point.
