I wasn’t trying to hate at all. I legit wanted to do it cause I like schedules and i had friends who had done it successfully and it seemed like a great idea. My kid just wasn’t having any of it. (And luckily transistioned just fine to solids.)

Man, I’m glad that worked for y’all. I tried that for about two days and went full on demand-feeding after that. We were both much happier. Well. He was. I was less stressed but felt more like a cow. But we also didn’t have to prepare for formula, and I can see why that would help out a lot with that adjustment.
I bet they don't write thank you notes.
It's just how it goes. My parents have to help us pay for preschool, partially because I made the stupid decision to become self employed and partially because we have college degrees we'll be paying off until our toddler starts college himself. Fuck, that's depressing.
Right? It's like people who are waiting to have a kid until the time is right. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. No. That time does not exist. Sorry, y'all. Just put a ring on it and keep on living your lives together.
This is regularly mine. It’s the day of finals and not only did I forget to go to class all quarter, I don’t even know where the classroom is.
My mom used to roll wheat bread out thin, slather with cream cheese, sprinkle with black olives and roll them up when I was 4. I would actually happily still eat that.
I was actually debating Queen Kara’s ruling on this one until you gave this little tidbit, and now I am full on board the shade train.
I just use non toxic cleaners. Honest company makes great stuff. It may not bleach stuff into oblivion, but the kid could drink it and not die, so there’s that.
Remember when weird music related shows stayed on MTV? Or when MTV had anything to do with music?
I totally do it to pacis. I *do* wipe them off on my probably dirty pants first, however. I wouldn’t do it to a strangers anything, but my own kid? Meh. Germs make you strong. I hate the Lysol hysteria these days. All it’s doing is creating super germs.
I agree with you, as much as I don’t want to. Unless it’s Stockholm. Then. Ugh. It’s ugh no matter how you slice this one.
Ugh. I’m hoping the approval thing going around is just a private school thing.
Oh, god, I hope not. That’s so depressing, to cut a good kid down for trying to do the right thing.
Did she make some big announcement that she would be wearing a tux? Did someone else find out and “tattle?” Or did some horrible asshole just bring it upon themselves to preemptively you-better-not-wear-a-tux or else? I feel like I’m missing part of the story.
Wait, whut?
Is the RU286 the more common method these days? Or is it just for before 7 weeks, and then the d&c surgical route? This seems super misleading. I was under the impression that the surgical method was the more used one...And that's pretty much impossible to reverse. As in, 100% not.
You swayed my vote.
you would not. I mean, you had BETTER want to get paid for your skills. Especially by someone who has enough money to literally have someone follow then around and take their pictures.
...And googling dill dip in pumpernickel recipes right. Now.
