Once a big star hits 90 they should just have it on standby. At 100 the tape should be loaded on the machine and ready to go at a moment’s notice. Is it really a surprise when a hundred-year-old passes away?

Similarly, the way it ends with Dwight and Angela’s wedding, and Angela is essentially a different character than who she’s been all throughout the rest of the show. The Office definitely gets sentimental in a completely unearned way at times.
In a world where the son-in-law of a president was confiscating PPP that states had obtained on their own just a year ago, it seems odd that you can’t imagine reasons why an organization would be hoarding supplies?
Karli is fighting for the right thing, but it’s also the wrong thing in some ways. I completely agree with her fighting against displacing refugees and the end of a time when people came together to make the world better, but at the same time, if I got snapped and then returned, you’re going to have to get the fuck…
She said she was scared to date black men and the world doesn’t need mexicans, I feel like I’m justified in wanting to know more about that.
She was just channeling that “White Male Rage” she likes to smugly sing about.
Id much rather find out about those awful tweets she deleted before she got SNL. Were those fake, what’s the story Melissa?
Do you think it’s worth thousands of police shootings, an untold number of which are unjustified?
Get tae fuck with that bullshit. Weird how a black girl with a knife gets gunned down but a white kid with a rifle can open fire on a crowd and get arrested without a scratch as well as get bought McDonald’s by the police on the way to be booked.
You’re making Jimmy Kimmel cry.
Ed Helms is a hard pass for me. I don’t know why I hate him so much, but I can’t help it. It’s almost visceral. He’s pretty popular with the Office fandom, too, though Andy Bernard was not funny or likable. I once made a comment somewhere about not liking that character, and the pile on I received was vicious.
Is Ed Helms actually likeable in this? Because he has leaned so far into being punchable that I have difficulty not wanting to punch him all the time now. Kind of like a less beefy Chris Pratt, he may have broken his persona for me. Mind you, I am not somebody who needs to fine every character likeable or have…
Absolutely The Office got wayyy too cartoonish and broad after those first few seasons. Everyone is obsessed with The Office right now as if it’s the best sitcom of all time, but it really had 3 solid, solid seasons and the rest were just mostly okay or worse.
Yeah, The Office’s problem was that it got cartoonish and over-the-top (and some misplaced sentimentality, as well).
The Good Place always had a problem with its characters trying to morally philosophize as though they were in a vacuum while acting like everything was an engineering challenge. If that sounds like an abstract criticism, well... okay, fair enough. But I contend it had a significant negative impact on the show’s…
I agree that at a certain point Parks & Recreation and The Good Place fell a little too deep in love with their own characters to focus on writing decent jokes. Also the ending of The Good Place didn’t really work for me. I can appreciate the sentiment behind it, and maybe if I’d seen it for the first time in 2019 I…
But does it have workplace bullying played as wacky hijinx?
who you might recognize from Spider-Man: Far From Home and Miley Cyrus’ Black Mirror episode
On one hand, you know, free Britney. But sometimes I wonder if this movement is entering the, you know, Finding Richard Simmons kind of bridge-too-far territory.
This is indeed a boring conversation.
