That sounds like the rantings of a fucking crazy person.

I can’t wait to watch this....there will absolutely be so many tears- this is one of my favorite shows of all time and I am not ready to say bye!
I tried to be optimistic about Prine’s chances after he was stabilized but somehow I couldn’t manage it. I felt it was a long shot after beating cancer that unfortunately hit his respiratory system.
Despite my love of Catherine O’Hara and Eugene Levy, I avoided this show for a while, mainly because the title turned me off. But last year after it got nominated for some Emmys, my wife and I tried it and then plowed through five seasons in about 10 days.
Favorite moment of the series was David saying “That’s my friend!” when Stevie starred in Cabaret. Their friendship was my favorite relationship on the show.
“David Letterman’s Tonight Show?” Yikes.
Hicks wasn’t a perfect comedian by any means(I always found his asides into 1960's LSD-soaked philosophy pretty grating) but presenting the dude who was infamous for absolutely eviscerating Desert Storm/Shield and the military-industrial complex in general in an era where that wasn’t exactly a popular mainstream…
I know Bill Hicks was important, because people often talk about how important he was and that’s a good sign someone is important, but did he ever and I mean ever do anything funny? I know making fun of poor rural southerners (this is known as “punching up” when done by a celebrity) looks fun to do but it’s boring to…
“Maybe I’m reading too much into things...”
Also Bruce Maddox objected to Data’s entry into starfleet academy in 2341. So assuming Maddox was only 22 when that happened (which is absurd) that means he was born in around 2319, making him at the very least 80 during Star Trek: Picard
I realized that I forgot some timelines:
So you really don’t have a relevant reply?
NOTED.
So we’re more interested in spaceship porn than plot or character dev?
NOTED.
They had Akira class ships, Galaxy class, Steamrunner class, a whole bunch of (admittedly ugly) kitbash ships.. That’s just off the top of my head, but it means a show 20 year ago had a cooler looking fleet with at least 4 more types of ships than the show that aired yesterday.
The mechanical heart was the giveaway—Jean Luc always thought of himself as not quite human after that, so this is just another step.
What did Riker say? “I’m sitting in the largest, most advanced starship the Federation has ever built! I’m not going to cut to a shot of the exterior... no, trust me, this is a badddazz ship.”
You realize like half the battles in DS9 were just old Miranda Class and Excelsior Class ships?
This is so awesome. 😅
So with the first season in the can, I’ll say this is perfectly imperfect Star Trek with plot holes you can see for miles if you invest yourself in it. I have a feeling Picard was originally supposed to die and not be revived but when the 2nd season was announced they had to retool the finale a bit.
If we’ve learned one thing from seven seasons and four feature films of TNG, it’s this: Jean-Luc Picard is very, very hard to kill.
