While I’ve yet to beat the final boss of Lightning Returns, I personally loved LR, and the entire trilogy. FFXIII was the primary reason for buying a PS3, just like my PS2 for FFX and my PS4 for FFXV (it’s still the only game I have for PS4).
And just because the 5+ spinoff ideas have now been whittled down to one doesn’t mean the last one standing is the best.
