That tracks, but still kinda Dr. Evil logic. Not arguing with you, I’m just having a hard time buying into the plotline of these movies. The Avengers are bringing a knife to a gun fight, but the guy with a gun just decides to use a knife anyway.

I know the answer is gonna be “watch the movie” or *shudders* “read the comic books”, but how is this even a battle? Wouldn’t Thanos just snap his fingers and kill all the Avengers? There’s got to be a lot of Austin Powers-style Dr.-Evil-explaining-the-slow-moving-death-machine-while-a-side-kick-sneaks-up-behind-him

Haha, same here. It was probably my 3rd or 4th cassette and I was not ready (the others were Weird Al and Michael Jackson). This is really taking me on a nostalgic little journey!

Man, I love this song. Not to go all John Cusack in High Fidelity, but this is my all time favorite album-opening track. It’s loud, raw, kicks ass, includes some of Kurt’s best sarcastic one-liners, and the rare Cobain guitar solo that does more than just follow the vocal line.

Speaking of red herrings, who’s talking about whether one should be paying to attend a state school? That’s a discussion unto itself that’s irrelevant to your initial post.

Lol, oh man, I think I missed a reference there.

Would you be interested in a podcast where two white guys talk about pop culture?  Well, too bad, I’m pretty sure that doesn’t exist.

Hey, maybe if you had a decent education, you would know better than to split infinitives PATRICK.

Yes, Troy, which is a suburb of Detroit.  If you are from Troy and you meet someone whose not from the area you say “I’m from Detroit”.

Victim blaming bullshit.

No one should go in debt to pay for any state school education.

That’s just for one year. Believe it or not, that is crippling for many, many people.  This isn’t about athletics to me.  No one should need to go into debt to go to state school

No one should pay to attend a state school.  Athletics is a red herring.

*One Year* of college.

He’s going to a state college in the state where he was born and raised.  It’s the system’s fault that his family has to assume crippling debt for him to go to school there regardless of athletic ability.

Hell would freeze over, basically.

Dag, trucks are expensive

You missed the initial part where he turns right onto the road from the center lane, cutting off everyone in the right turn lane
