yeah that’s kind of a dick move.

Ugh, that is one of my pet peeves. Don’t pick other adults up like they’re children, it’s beyond disrespectful! I don’t even let my husband do it. 

I’m currently still seething at a person who thinks it’s funny to pick up an adult and tell them “You’re just a tiny little thing.” I’m not short, I’m average height, and I may be skinny and boney, but you know, not appropriate to comment on!

Anyone else get choked up for the abortion clinic workers at this? I know what it’s like to go full throttle against the clock, but not at these stakes, and I’m definitely an empath and have been drinking, but damn. Goddexx bless the workers, and fuck Republicans.

It’s not even September and I am SO ready for the annual spooky stories post. For some reason it seems like now is the right time.

I think there’s a chance to go beyond “tacky voyeurism,” because there’s a lot more going on there than just GOP hypocrisy. My favorite is the woman who tearfully says wearing a mask interferes with God being able to look upon the faces of his creation.

And if you scratch the surface, she’s not all that apolitical. Remember the Obamacare joke at the CMTs? Remember when she made a “shut up and sing”comment about famous (liberal) people spreading on politics?

Her husband posted a totally insane video a few months back of a “doctor” spewing pseudoscience nonsense about masks not working and how vitamin D was the answer to curing COVID. So, it’s not totally out of line to think she is also drinking that Cool-aid. 

Anybody who refers to their pets as “fur babies” should be institutionalized.  

The only thing shocking about this is that people are shocked by it. Carrie’s husband is pretty openly conservative and she has remained largely apolitical except for some vague LGBT support. In country music that generally means you’re trying not to kill your crossover support. Did people think she was super liberal?
