Are you taking regular or extended release? I had a lot of the side effects you describe when I took it until I switched to the extended release and then it was much more manageable. So if you have regular it might be worth seeing if you can switch.

My husband has an insane (colloquially, not clinically) family member and a few other family members that act as enablers/satellites of this insanity.

A big part is Eddie (their CEO) making/getting loans. Probably biding his time until he can cash out at the most advantageous moment for him or re-spin it as something smaller and different (not traditional retail) but actually profitable.
