Looking at all of the new EVs, the buzzards are circling Tesla.

The real answer is fusion.

It’s an engineering case study like none other. When the previous methods have been wrung of all potential improvements, a new technology comes along that breaks down a barrier we didn’t even know was possible to pass.

Besides suspension stiffness and cockpit ergonomics, EV race cars are one of the best all-purpose track weapons since you can just change a setting and magically it’s a Nissan Leaf.

To all of those saying there has to be a breaking point: don’t be so sure. These same exact conversations have been happening for the past 20 years. Classic boiling frog.

I’m just stoked for rail service from Cancun to all of the other beach towns. Many people weren’t willing to take a two hour cab ride on a mexican highway, so they just stayed at the towns close to the airport. This should really open up the rest of the coast with new options.

I always wonder about this. Like, why aren’t car seats as comfortable as sofa seats? It’s not like cushion adds much weight. The only reason I can fathom is that cushion doesn’t hold up well to wear/tear of entry/exit.

I live in a town that BNSF is one of the largest blue collar employers and one of my best friends works in the yard.

I guess I’m the minority, but this is one of the ugliest cars I’ve seen in a loooooong time.

This is a highly antiquated worldview, and not based in any sort of reality.

My only gripe is how they don’t seem to be pushing for the best economy anymore.

There is a lot of speculation going around, but this is likely fault of the P-63 pilot.

Unless there is a glass floored aircraft I’m aware of, no modern aircraft would have fared any better in this situation.

Because he was banked 45deg left while probably looking even further left in the corner at the runway. The B-17 was under his feet and he was looking 90deg the wrong direction.

So you think that a crash caused by absolutely zero fault of the aircraft should cause the grounding of all vintage aircraft because of their age?

I’m all for it. Seems like a good time as any to back off on airline security.

Anyone who thinks OG dune buggies are worth bringing back has clearly never driven one.

The most reliable form of a vehicle is bone-stock.

I’ve been on a Model A kick lately:

I would even include the Fusion.
