My biggest takeaway was that it last a little over an hour from Green Flag to Checkered Flag. I was amazed with how quick it went by. It wasn’t the typical time investment a full race is, usually taking all afternoon.

In it’s defense, the GTO was pre-throwback body styles. The S197 Mustang really set that trend in 2005. If you look at the muscle cars of the early 00's with legacy names, none of them have any major attention paid to paying tribute to their forefathers.

I am seeing it bad in castings. In my line of work, many pieces of equipment start from a base casting which is machined and then other machined parts are assembled to it.
