Not in a pessimistic way, but I can’t disagree. It kind of feels like the world was a very finely tuned economoic machine that has been knocked off balance.

Not quite. A domestic supplier may have 10x the demand now if they can satisfy it. Capping the price only limits profit margin.

Can confirm. I’m in the air pollution control and pneumatic conveying industry. Aluminum is out of the question right now. If carbon steel isn’t acceptable, we’re using 304SS.

Great opportunity to open a small engine repair business in CA. What was once looked at as disposable will probably be repaired now.

Going to start seeing a lot of 24.5 hp commercial lawn equipment.

I daily a 6,000 lb F-150 that does 0-60 three tenths faster than that.

Also slow as molasses, so this checks out.

Here’s how I look at it:

When I was graduating engineering school I had a job offer from an HVAC firm that would have been a great gig. They had multiple great perks, one of which was a company provided car.

Here, let me fix that for you

Had one as a rental car. Easily, and I mean easily, the worst vehicle I’ve ever had the misfortune of experiencing.
