Actually, as transgender people come in all "classes" (see the silly way MisAndry was criticized above), I would think this is counter productive. I'm guessing that wealthier people have more options, both in dressing and in gender reassignment and so (joy!) could buy more stuff from Saks.

That's exactly how I read it, too.

Or Fluffy: Cerberus, yet cuddly.

Except Officer Shrift.

Wow, the Halloween costume possibilities...

Tragically, they don't. But props to Meryl for looking glamorous while pregnant.

Oh honey, I'm sure there are other good reasons why women won't go out with you.

Two beautiful, accomplished women.

Bless you. I wish every member of Congress would be required to read this aloud before casting a vote on this bill.

Or maybe transgender people are just another example of how fluid gender truly is for all of us and how unique and special each person truly is. After all, we are ALL made in God's image. including Leelah.

She did not know how to love her child. Obviously this is most tragic for Leelah. I can't imagine her pain and I wish so much there had been someone to help her. But I feel terrible for her mom, too. I'm sure she genuinely loved her daughter ( even if she still insists on calling Leelah her son). She is a victim

Planting milkweed immediately (it's warm enough to plant where I am).

I agree with you "properly trained." The vast majority of the idiots out there with guns have no or insufficient training. They are a danger to themselves and others. They are not protected.
