I mean, it’s 2 years away. I covered that in the post, saying it does depend somewhat on who else is running, but at this point there’s others I’d consider over Beto. But, again, it’s all moot because we don’t know who’s actually running. Beto might not, even (although I highly, highly doubt he won’t).

She won the popular vote, amidst a MASSIVE disinformation campaign orchestrated by both Russia and the Trump campaign. She won the popular vote despite all of that.

So, don’t tell me she wasn’t “popular.” Imagine what she would’ve done in a legitimate election.

This is the most important comment. Skin color and the content of your bank account should never factor into the justice process.

I doubt I’ll be voting for Beto in the primary, if he runs (obviously also depending on who the others running are), but again, when it comes to the actual election in 2020, it’s whoever the Dems put out there. Any Dem is better than Trump and his cronies, period.

So hold on, a girl who is trafficked and preyed upon, forced in prostitution, kills a man who picks her up, is given over 50 years, but a grown ass man killing his girlfriend, pouring bleach on her, and not calling 911 until she’s definitely dead only gets 3 years? These people don’t deserve that magnificent house (which she’s decorated to look like a suburban tract house). The room she calls “the library” has almost no books (there are but three yard-long shelves to the right of the fireplace). Then again, she calls The Night Before Christmas a book (it’s a poem). I’m willing to bet that the new House will have a problem but the Senate will be happy to go along with it.

It wouldn’t surprise me if he can, listed as a check or a balance to Congressional power. We did sort of dump-truck Executive power to the doorstep of the WH after 2001....
