Same here. I was really geared up for this game to disappoint the hell out of me, and I’m kind of glad I was because I’ve only been pleasantly surprised thus far.

Notable flaws are the character generator (it’s just worse than even Mass Effect 1 or even Dragon Age Origins, way less choices, terrible hair, can’t even

Despite the many flaws I’m having a whale of a time so far. It’s definitely a very rough diamond of a game IMO but still worth it.

Considering Sapkowski’s disdain for the games, and previous comments, the headline seems a little misleading. He got paid upfront, and even demanded a lump sum instead of being cut in on the backend.

This isn’t someone being screwed over, this is someone being shortsighted and pigheaded.

Yep this is a totally logical response to a few glitches. GTA, Uncharted, Assassins Creed and other major releases NEVER had funny/weird glitches in them. What a waste of time it was to play those games.

Uhh he didn’t call the movie. She did. He was showing her the card out of confusion. He literally reached into the envelope TWO MORE TIMES to see if there was another card in there.

You can stand under a steamy shower for days, however, and never run out of hot water, which makes it the best place in the world in my opinion. Additionally, while they believe in hill trolls they don’t actually elect them to the highest offices in the land.

the space military, duh

Man, I really hope so. Titanfall 2 is the best shooter I played last year. That universe has the makings of becoming a Halo or Half Life if people just give it a chance and if EA stop being complete morons when they make decisions on when to release their games.

You should see the response to that question when it was posed to Respawn and EA in a joint presser.

One of the best games I have ever played. I have never seen so much intricate care go into the building of a game world. Hundreds of hours of fully voiced content, with every quest sporting unique NPCs, instead of the same 4 or 5 voice actors.

Maybe, but I think it’s more likely that people are fed up because the show just cannot seem to be consistenly interesting. That’s part of why I stopped watching after last season. The Glenn dumpster fiasco was the tipping point for me, it was lazy writing, and a cheap gimmick cliff-hanger for the midseason finale.

Maybe because Negan reminds us a little too much of a certain person who was recently elected? I like to work out my anxiety by getting scared of imaginary zombies, not have it amplified by getting scared of an imaginary dictatorial narcissist.

Shit man, if you felt so strongly about not wanting to read a political article, maybe next time don’t, you know, click on it.

Just skip the article explicitly titling itself about the election, then. Kotaku does crossposts from its sister sites all the time and if you can ignore those, you can ignore this article.

You didn’t have to click on the article. There were many other articles to choose from.

I am part German, and for as long as I can remember, Americans have asked me how on earth Hitler could have been elected in such an advanced and wealthy nation. Perhaps they will no longer have to ask.

Good. The best part about Mass Effect was the story. I don’t want to know anything except the graphics.

can that person email me patricia@kotaku.com

There are other games that are artistic but Journey is the only game that I played that I felt was transcendent. It spoke to me and moved me deeply. It alternately filled me with wonder, catharsis, mourning, and longing. I’ve never felt so satisfied at the end of a game. A beautiful experience and 100% one of the
