Let’s make sure people can see and understand what half-assed false equivalence looks like. :)

One could argue our experience with Rob Ford would put Canadians in a position to offer semi-credible advice. Trump is Rob Ford x10.
While “winning is winning” is a fine short term strategy, it isn’t necessarily a good for the game in the long term. Parking the bus is boring. Viewers don’t want boring. They want intense, exciting, dramatic games. If a game is boring, they’re more likely to change the channel, or spend their ticket money on…
Why let a little thing like actually reading the article get in the way of making a daft comment on the internet?
I remember CDProjekt coming out and explaining why their trailers looked different to the finished game. But then CDProjekt should be put on a pedestal as a testament to how games should be done.
Holy shit - this is just a straight forward informative post explaining the answer to an interesting question. Well done.
There’s a strong intersection between the type of dude who wants a brown turbo diesel manual wagon, and the type of dude who would fly 5000 miles on a whim to see a woman he’s only texted.
To be entirely fair, the trailers were clearly trying to make it look like this would be their Guardians of the Galaxy, so my guess is people expected a lot more comedy. Dark comedy, maybe, but comedy.
This is quite true. The same thing could be said about difficulty levels as well. There are always people who see something that might make something less difficult and then complain about it. Even if it is just an optional easy mode.
People would just google where to find it anyway. This does the same thing but keeps them immersed and in game.
Which “woman from Ubisoft”? Oh I see you meant Aisha Tyler, couldn’t disagree more. She’s a more dedicated gamer than the lot of us combined and has been all her life. She’s been talking about gaming for years on her podcast and grew up in arcades. She’s also got years of experience as a stand up and is pretty well…
The Witcher: It Follows
I had issues with Kratos being a son of Zeus in the last game, my B.A. in English made me cringe at seeing this random character in the same pantheon of the Greek gods.
However, mythological anachronisms aside, if the last series of games focused on Kratos being the ultimate, rebel son of the gods, this game may focus…
This is the perfect example of why I love CD Projekt. Who else would manage to take a glitchy mount with poor controls and spin that into a memetically weird doofus horse that everyone loves.
sony: hey can you say fuck you to konami somehow
YES! I cannot express my excitement for this game. I am actually writing a novella/novel with an Android protagonist, who “becomes human”. (though under way different circumstances.)
This is pretty much my reason to get a PS4. Especially if there is a limited edition console. I’d sell my soul for a LE console.
People will only believe it when they get the thing installed off the disc and playing it and even then many will think it’s not the full game.
What does the “french” part has to do with anything ??
They’re saying that all games will run on both and that both systems will support VR.
Education is more than just hard facts. It’s also a bunch of processes. From information gathering, to postulating, applying knowledge of known data, to even having to use formulas. And that’s just some examples of the many processes. And MatPat uses all of that.
