Older yes.  I think it might be impossible for Annie Pots to get ugly though.  Lady looks damn good at 71

I’m not a fan of The Big Bang Theory. I really enjoy Young Sheldon. There are a lot of funny scenes and touching moments.

One of many scenes I have enjoyed.

Also — Annie Potts is 71 years old?!? I’m guessing there’s a painting somewhere getting older and uglier as the days pass.

I was genuinely excited for this season, especially for Foster, Hawkes, Eccleston, and Shaw. Saw a couple interviews with Lopez that quelled that a bit but was still cautiously optimistic. I’m glad I waited til today to binge this because this was a sloppy, disjointed mess. The acting was the only good thing about it,

Rogue Nation had no IMF traitor. I don't think the second one did either.

Henry Cavill cocking his arms when getting ready to fight was trailer nirvana.

It does have one other weakness: the villain. I’m always surprised when Michael Nyqvist shows up because I’d forgotten he was in it since the last time I saw it. The role doesn’t stack up against what Philip Seymour Hoffman or Henry Cavill are able to bring. Hell, even Dougray Scott is more memorable.

It’s wild that Tom Cruise is now older than Jon Voight was in the original Mission: Impossible.

So that Barbie/Oppenheimer release weekend? You know, the most opposite-seeming major films of all time? Yeah, turns out one is a Book of Genesis metaphor and the other, a Book of Revelations metaphor.

I find it very fitting that His Only Son opened on April Fools weekend, since it’s basically the Bible’s version of this Norm MacDonald routine:

Kind of an awesome weekend for religious movie-goers. Christians got to see His Only Son and Jesus Revolution and Satanists got Dungeons & Dragons.

that strawberry scene totally smacked me back of the head with some emotions.

It’s a kiss but a hollow, empty, grotesque parody of one, made all the more horrifying by the fact that it replaces the actual emotional moment she wanted from Joel but was denied.  The infected take *everything.*

Guys, this is like the fourth article you’ve done on the tendril kiss, and you’ve offered zero coverage of the time I totally kissed my Canadian girlfriend.

Binging that show must’ve been a treat. I started watching sometime during season 3 and the absolute slog that was the second half of season 4 and the first few episodes of 5 was tough to get through week to week.

I just binged Fringe for the first time. I am now a big Anna Torv fan. Great performances on that show and in TLOU. We had so much less time with her here than in the game, and she still makes sure that Tess makes an impression. Outstanding.

*raises eyebrows* You know, for a guy with “Chill” multiple times in his username, you’re taking an innocuous comment a bit overdramatically. Well, glad I gave you the opportunity to vent about nothing to do with me or the show.

Minor characters who still get to show a spark of personality, are a sure sign of excellent writing

Bravo to Christine Hakim for making, in a brief role, Dr. Ratna a compelling, dignified character with an inner life. The way she even protested her being picked up by the cops told us something about her.
