What a brave woman. Not that I’d want to spend any time with a person like Rusty, but I’m glad someone did just so we can understand why he does what he does. We may not agree with his actions (I certainly don’t), but I appreciate that someone took the time to find out WTF Rusty’s damage is in case it can be fixed.

Those bleachers look like a nice place to get a tan.

I look forward to it being the home of hundreds of stray dogs after the World Cup ends.

And then they grow older and have no idea how to play actual soccer and their parents wonder why little Timmy isn’t getting a college scholarship and the US can’t field a decent team.

I dont know whats up with the Steelers—-but you cant be losing this late in the game to the putrid Bears and expect to do anything in the playoffs.

Kick It Out called it “offensive and discriminatory” and said “racist stereotypes are never acceptable, irrespective of any intention to show support for a player,” per the BBC.

Emphasis on “dark.”

If nothing else, as less and less people allow their boys to play football, the pool from which soccer can pull talent from should expand over the next 5-10 years.

When we practiced the spike at the end of the game at the NFL level, basically everyone treats it as a normal spike the ball, except for one receiver with a route and the QB. That receiver is running the route no matter what, and then if the QB thinks he can get it (defender slow to react, receiver gets a step), he’ll

Here’s one more.

People of both genders have to do this all the time, though. It’s especially ironic that you used baseball as your example—I know many baseball players (high school and college level, not pro, but still) who constantly are defending the athleticism and physical difficulty of the sport.

Yeah, I totally get that! That’s why this take is so weird. “Why is she apologizing for her sport?” She isn’t, she is reiterating how difficult it is because she knows that the guys buying “The Body Issue” are probably not figure skating fans, and could use reminding.

You really don’t see how someone uneducated in figure skating might think that the costumes, music, and choreography are just as important as the physical challenges, and why a top athlete like Wagner would want to push back on that? Or how the layman could conflate figure skating and ice dancing as parts of the same

Athletics =/= sports.

Can you imagine a male athletes having to make the case for, say, baseball, like this, over and over again?

Today the Great Salt Lake is even saltier.

Kind of curious what most viewers think about these really difficult course setups. I think sometimes (maybe not all the time?) it is fun/interesting to watch the pros deal with tricky situations and pay a bigger price for bad shots, and ultimately struggle to shoot around par... versus watching them shoot -10 every
