I am not being snarky, I honestly thought Seinfeld spurred changed on the drug test tolerance after the poppyseed muffin episode.

I think that she meant in addition to her talking to North, she thought it might sink in better if Mason also shared his experience. It’s not weird to ask an older kid to set an example and share things since a kid is more likely to listen to their cousin than their mom. 

I feel like there’s something missing in this story. Maybe he left his key in the ignition or something, but even then that wouldn’t be enough to create civil liability (at least in my state). It also doesn’t make sense that the insurance would drop his coverage.

It depends on the state- also the tax write off (1) often isn’t more than the standard deduction and (2) isn’t anywhere close to $400. And it depends on the school- more affluent schools give teachers more funds to stock their classrooms and are less likely to run out of things like printer paper or paper towels.…

Shelter Cat Update!

I love this pupper so much. It's Connie.

I’ve had Wiley cat for 4 years and this is his first Christmas tree.  Say a little prayer for us. 

I think ‘Point Break’ and ‘The Matrix’ are spot on for easy-to-watch early Keanu, but ‘The Devil’s Advocate’ shouldn’t be on that list, and not just because it’s batshit and not very good, but because it’s a rough watch thematically, and his ‘Point Break’ stuff isn’t too different, acting-wise (ditto for ‘Speed’).

At this point she’s about the only reason I watch.
