Catcher in the Rye’s always good.

I loved House of Mirth. Wharton was so sharp. Read it, and please heal quickly!

Little Women.

Waugh! A Handful of Dust is my personal fav.

When I’m in the mood for a good cry - A Tale of Two Cities or Jude the Obscure. So good.

Jane Eyre.

The Good Earth!

I've been reading a little Lovecraft. It's racist but I can see his influence in a lot of modern writers.

Rebecca!

Silas Marner and Lucky Jim.

Vanity Fair?

Slaughterhouse 5. I’ve read it multiple times and each time I notice something different. Excellent novel.

Pride and Prejudice

Did you read the Pevears /Volokhonsky translation? They’re the best!

East of Eden

I see what you did there:)

This is a scandinavian classic: The Dwarf by Par Lagerkvist. Very, very dark.

Hooray! Love that book, love everything Vonnegut ever spilled out on paper.

There are too many to choose from, so your rec get's my immediate vote.

Anna Karenina and Pride and Prejudice. Both so great. AK definitely worth the number of pages. Just get a cup of tea and dig in. You’ll love it. Total soap opera.
