So can American insurance companies. No one should be deprived of a treatment when they are sick, especially because they can’t “afford” treatment.

That is a Flemish Giant rabbit. I bred and showed them as a kid. Normally, the bigger the rabbit, the sweeter the personality.
Pharma research is a money sink. Getting stuff FDA approved is money-sink squared.
I just cannot go on planes—can’t do it. I drink lots of water the day before, stop drinking 2 hours before the flight, and ration water while onboard. I then rehydrate as soon as we land.. I’ve flown across oceans this way. No inflight cocktails., of course, but I make up for it afterwards :-)

I came here to say this. Also, there are actually tons of law suits across the country by inmates demanding the Hep-C treatment. Hep-C is quite an epidemic in “correctional” institutions, unfortunately, no matter how great it would be to cure them all this way its not in the cards and is likely not constitutionally…
It makes me insane that my Medicare will cover penile implants, but not hearing aids, glasses or dentures.
Hahahahaha wow that is one of my fav urban dictionary definitions. “Sequal” just reminds me of squeakuel wasn’t that used in like an Alvin and the chipmunks movie or something?
I fly a lot, and often with my kids. I always have a spare diaper stuffed in my purse in an inside pocket, even though the youngest one is 95% potty trained. There was one flight last year where I was seriously about a minute away from stuffing that spare diaper into my own pants and letting it all go. Hours and hours…

Actually, you can get up and use the bathroom. This happened to me once and told the FA “I’m going to wet my pants in about thirty seconds if I can’t go use the restroom.” He said something that sounded like something he was required to say like “you can use the washroom but it is against my advice and at your own…
Night of the Lepus.
Hahah ;)
Oh hell no. I will pee on their plane seat just out of spite. I’m not going to die to save them a bit of cleanup.
YOU GUYS YOUR MEDICAL SYSTEM IS TOO COMPLICATED. Move to Canada and we’ll hang out and have a beer.
I have no hard facts about this, but my coworker’s dad just had this treatment and is now cured. I’ve gotten the impression over the years that they are regular middle class people and would not have been able to afford $85K to do this. I'm guessing their insurance must have covered most of it. He had Hep C for a long…
Do they throw in some botox and optional body tucking?
