My mom was able to go through the treatment for free over the summer as part of a study group. She was cured of her Hep C as well. I know people keep sneering at the price - and I agree that it is absurdly expensive - but I am just happy there is a cure.

Not saying it’s not expensive, just saying it’s cheaper than decades of other, less effective treatments/hospitalisations/etc.
