In general I think this is spot on. Exceptions to every rule - see my comment below - but very true overall.

The Traveling Wilburys would like a word (just swapping out Harrison for McCartney).

There is no defense for The Stones.

The cast? More like just Anna Torv’s comments on our obsession with serial killers. Not that I’m complaining.

The premiere of Season 8 left you searching for a reason to keep watching? As opposed to all of Season 2? Which remains the worst season of a television show I’ve ever seen and was more than enough to cure me of ever watching a single episode of TWD again.

1. Rushmore
2. The Grand Budapest Hotel
3. The Life Aquatic
4. Royal Tenenbaums
5. Moonrise Kingdom
6. Fantastic Mr. Fox
7. Bottle Rocket
8. Darjeeling Limited

But 5-8 are basically in a tie with each other.

You might want to fix the headline - he doesn’t throw squirrels, it’s a chipmunk.

I believe a drunken Richard Burton would like to have words with you.

I somehow caught "The Unusuals" when it first aired and was pleasantly surprised. Solid supporting cast. Filmed in NYC (RIP Stage Restaurant). The only other thing at that point I had seen Renner in was The Hurt Locker and figured he was 2 for 2 on roles.

Absolutely nothing. It's an incredible film in every respect. Saw it on a regular screen and have to go back to check it out in 70mm

Kind of surprised no one mentioned the piano solo from "Layla".

Yeah but worth it to watch Wagner Moura. He'll be missed in this season, unless he comes back as Escobar's long-lost twin brother "Pedro".

I disagree - growing up in New England - it's all hockey all the time come winter. There's plenty of fans to go around and support that number of teams.

But those hotbeds of hockey talent and epic pond hockey tournaments like Phoenix, LA, Florida (2 teams!), Vegas, etc. make perfect sense, right?

Did that make him glad all over?

There's a truck for "Stay Puft" marshmallows right at the beginning.

Which delusion is that? Okay I wrote "responsible for its upkeep" instead of "contribute towards". Oh and thanks for proving my point above.

Right…because everyone who has their name on something is responsible for its upkeep. I actually live right up the road from it and the story going around is that NYS deliberately let it fall to ruin because they want to sully his name. The NYT actually did a story about the park back last summer and pointed out this

Isn't this much more of a comment on the state of NY rather than Trump? After all the state's been in control of the park for over a decade.

True Lies is totally worth it. If for nothing else than Bill Paxton's sniveling used car salesman: "I got a small dick."

So for "National Pizza Day" the bulk of the writers come up with a bunch of places that don't even serve pizza but the abomination that is "Chicago pizza" which, as every true pizza connoisseur knows, isn't even pizza. Well done AV Club, well done.
