That asking your parents buy you an apartment rather than paying for your own housing really puts the ish in adultish.

She may be adultish because her parents paid her down payment, but her kitchen is fucking ugly. SO THERE.

fun fact:

Honest question: did you just read every third word of the article, or only half the headline? No one is shaming Marla, and she didn’t “choose” to do it, Trump was pressuring her to. Keep holding your breath about getting to see nude photos of her though.

According to credible reports(see Matt lauer) there was a translator and they understood the general idea of what was happening (i.e, the gas station owner was pissed at the vandalism and demanded payment). So let’s stop with the excuses. He fucked up and lied about it. Period.

I unironically love this pedantic comment.

In his defense; he seems really, really dumb.

He didn’t have to say anything! He paid off the gas station, they probably weren’t going to tell anyone about the story (they probably didn’t even recognize these guys).

“Learned some valuable lessons”

It’s fine to feel sorry for her. I think she’s just your average social climber, and she never expected to be in the national spotlight like this where people are paid money to actually check the things you say.

One thing’s sure, whoever her legal representation was is probably going to get sued by Trump.

And to slip this in (hopefully) before the “she’s only his spouse, none of this matters” crowd, let’s remind ourselves of how the right went after Michele Obama for the “real reason” she surrendered her law license, or Hilary Clinton for her legal work, her clothing choices, her hairstyle, you name it.

Meh. Obviously shouldn’t lie under oath, but I don’t actually care whether she has a college degree or not.

I feel like a person whose introduction to porn was their rapist abductor kind of doesn't have the most level starting point for a conversation about the subject. But maybe that's just me.

Alternatively, D-E-S-P-E-R-A-T-E. The job market is bleak:(

I managed an unpaid internship while living in Brooklyn. It was hellish. I shared an (illegal) rental with three people (one of whom was likely insane) and had over a mile walk to the nearest train station. I worked two part time jobs and used my school loan to pay for existing and my average night’s sleep was around

I came to that dichotomy yesterday and that’s when this Lochte story turned from slightly humorous to enraging to me.

Sometimes, in the heat of debate and speaking on a multitude of issues, you don’t choose the right words or you say the wrong thing...
