That’s not bad...now if it was being sold with a broken timing belt, it’d be worth less than half of what’s being asked.

By that, they have to repair the car to pre-accident condition, not just “slap some filler and shoot some paint on it”
We should all pitch in, buy all the OEM parts we can, and just build our own Jalopnik Supra.
We generally order and paint the bumper, bring the car in, remove and de-trim the old bumper, assemble and re-install. Aside from paint, we might turn-around a replacement in 2 - 3 hours.
4-cylinder motor:
No! It has to be 3M brand, the only Duct Tape Officially Licensed by NASCAR! If it’s good enough for professional drivers, it’s good enough for me!
If the crack doesn’t go all the way through, you could even just fill it with some fiberglass filler.
Exactly...Jethro over at Tugg’n-Tubbs could repair this pretty easily for less than $2k. People saying the repair would cost $19k don’t know what the Hell they’re talking about.
Unless the crack goes all the way through, there’s really no reason to fiberglass it, anyway (unless you’re worried somebody’s going to strip the paint off and take a look).
You can repair fiberglass, in fact, it’s a Helluva lot easier to repair than a plastic bumper from a Toyota Camry or Honda Accord. Whoever’s telling you the whole part needs to be replaced has lost their damn mind.
50% of the valuation, and for a car like this, there’s no way you get to keep a car like this after it gets totaled.
Yeah, this is bullshit. That’s a tiny fiberglass repair, and it doesn’t matter if the bumper is part of a larger section or not, because it’d still have to be blended over all the adjoining panels anyway.
Didn’t answer my question.
Wonder how the deficit looks with this? Wasn’t it going to increase by $1.5 trillion? And the only reason the increase was so small (lolz!) was because it was going to continuously increase income taxes on the working class.
I’d heard an idea being tossed around here in NC (as they’re trying to implement voter ID here) that by increasing the cost of a driver’s license by $5 (which you only pay every 8 or 10 years), it would easily cover the cost of giving free state ID’s to adults who don’t drive.
I’m 32, and honestly haven’t used a photo ID in nearly 15 years.
So, you’re in favor of securing election systems and going back to paper ballots? I mean, surely the GOP wouldn’t be dragging their feet on election fraud!
Yeah, one of the laws on the ballot here in NC this year is whether to require ID to vote (along with removing non-partisan leadership from the Board of Elections and replacing it strictly with Republicans...seriously!)
The F-150's about .2 seconds behind the Explorer, but it’s still #3; kinda surprised you don’t see more of those.
They also overheat constantly because of faulty electronics.
