It’s cute that you think that, but that’s 100% not true. That might be true for a infinitesimally small portion of that 38%, but the vast majority of respondents literally think there’s a connection. Or did you miss the fact that google searches for “corona beer virus” spiked in February too? Many people are fucking

I would put every last cent I could on a bet that if he responded by calling her Karen or Becky (assuming neither is her actual name), he would have ended up being disciplined and possibly fired...

While you’re not entirely wrong, your point is also not applicable in this case. This is a current (well, probably not for much longer) NFL athlete who is still earning millions of dollars playing football. This is not a guy who has blown through all of his money after his playing days are done and has to do something

You know there are restrictions (which vary from state to state) on the amount of alcohol you can carry across state lines even though it’s federally legal to possess, right? aNukedHamster is 100% correct, even if weed was legal in all 50 states and/or on the federal level, there would absolutely be restrictions on

Do they genuinely believe that black people’s hair is somehow a threat or are they just using it as an excuse to discriminate?

In a statement released Thursday, NBPD (in full, side-eye worthy caucacity mode) said the I-Team’s report “fails to tell the story of well-rounded officers, well balanced North Brunswick police department.”

While I am not even remotely surprised that a republican, particularly one in this administration, would have such a thought, I am still somehow constantly amazed and disgusted by the fact that they no longer have any reservations about saying the quiet part out loud

That’s the one that really bothered me when they brought up that maybe Oliver couldn’t bring back anyone who’s death fundamentally changed him, i.e. explaining how he couldn’t bring back his father because that death was integral to his entire origin. Tommy’s death was pretty damn important to his development as well

The entire impetus behind they’re stepping back from the royal family is the racism and harassment from the British tabloid press, it’s unfortunately hardly surprising that instead of any sort of self-reflection or learning from their bullshit Channel 5 decides to produce / air this bullshit interview with her shitty

Whether or not you outlive the boring teenagers depends very heavily on whether or not any of them are sexually active

Last season’s Elseworlds crossover made it pretty clear that there was an Earth-1 version of Alex Danvers - her overall personality / job were changed for Elseworlds due to some Book of Destiney shenanigans but they definitely strongly implied that she was the Earth-1 doppelganger of Supergirl’s sister and not simply

It’s distinctly possible that that was intentional on the part of the flight attendant who is (understandably) fed up with a toxic work environment...

“Comply first, complain later if you think you’ve been wronged” would be a somewhat reasonable stance to take if not for the countless examples of people of color being brutalized and murdered while complying

...said NYPD spokesperson Sergeant Mary Frances O’Donnell, adding that the NYPD’s practices are “permitted by law and comports with all legal standards.”

TBF, it is right out of Trump’s playbook - “no, no, no, I absolutely did not say the thing that you recorded me saying like 2 hours ago”

CPS teachers are fucking heroes. It is beyond clear by what they’re specifically asking for that they are doing this for their students, not for themselves. Yes they’re asking for pay raises, but those were already on the table and public school teachers are drastically underpaid everywhere in this country anyways.

3 guesses to how many of those jurors were white, and the first 2 don’t count...

Yeah but Brooklyn 99 is still going strong, so there’s at least something worth salvaging

Ding ding ding, you win the prize. The reality is that the timing of the Lisa Frank pop-up is actually incredibly beneficial for Mucciolo as it gives her something to point at (provided you don’t look too closely) as the “real” reason for her eviction as opposed to the frequent late and missed rent payments.

I honestly do not understand all of the hate for season 3 nor all of the love for season 5 on this board. In my opinion seasons 1, 3 and 7 were all good / roughly equal in quality, season 2 was the absolute best, and all of seasons 4-6 (including season 5!) were absolute garbage.
