Just wondering… did y’all do a mocking story when Joe fell off his bike?
Years ago Kentucky, among other states, hired high school students as drivers. Seems nuts, but who knows? Maybe we’re headed back that way.
I’m a sixty-something guy who spent much of my childhood restoring twenties-forties era cars with my dad. He’s still alive and kicking at 90, but as you mentioned, it’s getting harder to find people knowledgeable about restoration of cars from this era. Your mother should always be on your “My People” list.
The Macon newspaper headline stated that the event happened at an upscale Athens restaurant.
As a high school coach in the early 1980's we played against one small school that had a carpeted gym. I never realized how much you depend upon the sound of a basketball striking hardwood. It can help determine direction, bounce back, and other intangibles. The school that played their games there had a definite home…
Lifts no weights? Who would’ve guessed?
He definitely helped the Kansas City Royals in 2010, his one season there. The KC win total skyrocketed from 65 to 67.
Geesh. Next thing you know they’ll be installing playgrounds at ballparks.
