I bought an ‘08 GTS and it’s the finest all-around sports-luxury sedan I’ve ever driven. Build quality is right up there with Mercedes. Very little parts-bin stuff in this year, mostly dash buttons for the ICE and HVAC.

That these people were given the kind of money it took to develop this monstrosity, and “announced” its “debut” with a $99.99 video, shows a not-so-strange lack of perspective.
