My idea to revive P1:

I know it makes it a closed cockpit car, for most F1 fans will not like it, but I think a fighter canopy would look incredible on an F1 car.

I’ve driven all of these with the exception of the 500 Abarth and I own a Focus ST.

Seconded. I have never had an issue with my Focus ST, but both my brother and father ran into their own cars trying to reverse out of the driveway.

It might as well. I’m pretty sure stands for Validation Prototype 4. It was one of the test vehicles for the P1.

This was my great view of the McLaren P1 VP4 at Caffiene and Octane in Atlanta on Sunday morning.

Why did they put inferior rubber on it? Both the Pilot Super Sport’s and The Sport Cup 2's are better tires.

I firmly believe that having an auto Viper would have saved it.

My race car has drum brakes. It will still lock up all 4 wheels. Normally the rears barely do anything.

But the seller says it’s “VERY Collectible”. /s

With new car designs visibility is awful. I think that’s the biggest contributing factor there.

It’s probably a bit different in the States. A lot of shops essentially hold you hostage by using the inspections as a way to overcharge you for stuff you may or may not need. If you wanted to take you car to another shop you would have to have it towed because it’s now illegal to drive there.

Not talking about the entire Focus lineup. Specifically the Focus ST. It’s slower than both. It has a worse interior than the GTI, and only on par with the WRX. The infotainment center is garbage. It get worse gas mileage than both. The usable interior space isn’t as good as the GTI.

It’s competitive in the segment that existed when it came out in late 2012. They “updated” it, but that was only cosmetic really. Now nearly all of the competition is better. The GTI & WRX are simply better cars now. When the Focus ST came out, it was (arguably) king of the segment.
