Correct you are, but that’s still very close for a “lesser”Civic.

It’s faster than the outgoing Civic Si, which is fast for a non “hot hatch”. I’d be willing to bet that the New Civic Si will be a much better car than a Focus ST. The new GTI is already better. The Focus is stuck in 2012. It needs a major rework already to keep up with the segment.

Can confirm. I bought a beater Miata for a track car because I won’t be particularly sad when I smash it.

I think the Pontiac looks better. I like the Maybach lines, but the execution is awful. It looks like a kit car.

It makes me sad when cars like this aren’t driven.

These two cars are about as similar looking as anything else on the market right now.

Sure better aero will help the range, but if it’s getting 200 miles on one charge anyway, why is it that much of a problem?

Progress happens in steps. First we had Cruise control, then ABS, then came Traction control and active stability management, then adaptive cruise control, and now steering assist software is rolling out.

Honestly, I think most of the people buying a Tesla understand this. We only hear about the few that don’t understand. There will always be dumb people with money that will do dumb things. Part of why this particular car was so special was because Elvis owned it. He made it his. They should have restored it to Elvis-spec.

I feel like almost all of the issues with the Model X could have been easily avoided.

Touche.

I do believe that the American thing to do would be to build a better car and whip Ferrari with it for years to come.

You’re right. When I test drove the 275hp 4-banger I was expecting much, much more out of it. Even the nearly 350hp V6 felt lacking.

I think it’s finished in a “carbon fiber” wrap.

Scrap prices right now make me sad. I got $25 for a 650lbs civic shell recently.

They were invented in the late 60's, but I have no idea what aircraft they are actually installed in, only that they exist.

Nope, they can be launched from the ground.

When we were building the motor for our civic ChumpCar, I insisted on keeping the timing cover. The last this I want to end our race is a tiny rock from a gravel trap.
