They are shortening some of the longer strikes, since that appears to be why many people quit or idle. So yes, they are addressing the cause.

Honestly, I think you’re making the technical issues sound worse than they are. Pretty much every game is going to have some quirks but not once while playing did I ever think “gee, this game sure is rough around the edges” because I was always too caught up in the atmosphere and gameplay.
