I unplugged it after a week. Which, give them credit, is a week longer than I expected.

As a game-playing device it never reached its full potential
The thing I’m sad about is their decision not to do any more big, monolithic DLCs in favour of shitty seasonal nonsense. I thought the Halloween one was garbage, and I haven’t even tried the Christmas one yet.
How dare someone pay attention to something frivolous, even for three minutes and fifty-nine seconds plus the time to read the blog post, when important issues still exist?
The Graham Norton Show has been great for years, but this year in particular he’s been on fire. Not sure what it is about his beard, but he seems to be wearing it in most of his best material.
I mean, it’s a little difficult when you start out, but there are some seriously OP perks that trivialize the combat completely. Before you get them, it can be difficult. For me, difficult is only good if it’s well-designed. Or, rather, I judge combat by how fun it is when it gets difficult. This is why I love Dark…
Because it would be more exciting that way? I mean, the combat in Fallout isn’t very good and has never been very good - people go to these games to explore and make their mark on a massive, richly populated world, not for state-of-the-art combat design. That said, it’s not so bad that it’s unenjoyable when difficult.
I didn’t play New Vegas, but there is proper ironsights. However, most of the melee enemies move much faster (and more unpredictably) than they did in FO3, so I find myself using VATS much more than I used to. Especially now that I have that perk, since VATS is basically an insta-gib-everything button.
Yeah, somewhere in my late 60s now. One-shotting everything with my maxed two-shot combat sniper rifle (or my gauss rifle if they’re too big for that). I haven’t yet found a gauss rifle with an interesting Legendary modifier. When I can one-shot the behemoths, there’s not much left to level up. Perhaps I should bump…
Intentionally hobbling myself by self-imposing combat rules is a pretty lame workaround.
It’s a lot easier than not using VATS, but having a non-zero miss chance would at least make it non-trivial in some cases. Right now I can insta-headshot any enemy close enough to show up in VATS, even if it is behind certain types of cover. With 6.3x damage if I was in stealth, which at that distance you almost…
They don’t seem to have fixed the buff you get from MacCready’s perk. I’m still never less than 95% to hit for headshots. It seemed like the most obvious and easy to fix, too, since it was just a typo in a config (20 instead of 0.2 for 20%).
That’s likely because Schwarzenegger’s chin >>>>>>>>> Paul Ryan’s chin
I, too, have ploughed both butts and fields. While butt ploughing isn’t something I find interesting enough to want to do very often, it certainly beats field ploughing.
I grew up in Ireland in the 1980s and 1990s, and as a consequence it always surprises me when people think of nuns as anything other than abusive tyrants.
Doing this doesn’t actually change / fix anything though.
Still the best ever Playstation ad:
Zardoz, the character - probably. I don’t think the film is - it’s rare to see penises portrayed as inherently life-giving. Normally women’s bits are used for that kind of metaphor.
THE GUN IS GOOD. THE PENIS IS EVIL.
One day we can have a powerful female action hero who happens to also like women without the damn Male Gaze fantasy aspect
