Yes, it was Irrfan Khan

They insist on MP so early in development that it’s not really fair to call it “unplanned”. More “unnecessary” - like the infamous Spec Ops multiplayer: http://www.ign.com/articles/2012/…

and don’t succumb to Feature Creep

I’m afraid I can’t tell which comment you are responding to because Kinja, but I’ll assume this one:

If this were a film about American history, that would be utterly valid. Brits at the time would probably associate the word “rebel” more with Irish Free Staters than any kind of American.

I feel like they backed off the 7 thing a bit with Destiny, along with most of the pre-Halo stuff (although I did notice a Pathways Into Darkness callout in one of the Taken King levels)

My sister graduated from Bard this year, and a former inmate from this program was graduating too. He gave the best speech and got the biggest applause. Hope things go well for that kid.

And YouTube comments being particularly terrible? Say it ain’t so.

Ah, I was mistaking it for Rockstar’s in-house physics engine, because you were talking about it as if it were an alternative to Havok. It looks like it’s just an extra-fancy ragdoll solution. Which is nice, but games will only use it if it can be made to fit in frame with everything else the game is doing. Havok has

Havok recommends 2-3 engine programmers to help integrate Havok into your game. Every game that I have worked on that uses Havok (I’ve not worked on any games with Euphoria), there has been at least one dedicated Physics dude whose job it is to get Havok to play nicely with the game engine. I expect that is true of

This has nothing to do with the choice of physics engine - that can be achieved in Havok or PhysX or Euphoria or any of the other physics engines. It has to do with design decisions about how snappy the devs want their game controls to be versus how natural their animations should look.

It’s a question of how many resources the devs want to allocate to Havok. A frame at 30fps is only 33 milliseconds long, and they only want to spend one or two of those (at most) on physics. Havok gives them the tools to be as accurate and/or elaborate as they want, but the devs only use as much as they can while

I would have preferred an Apocalypto reference, but I’ll take it.

I recently worked on a game that had a montage before the main menu. It covers loading, and is skippable as soon as the loading is done.

Guess I could have guessed from your username. Apologies; I know the sting of constantly being mis-identified as coming a nearby, bigger country.

Now playing

That’s putting it somewhat mildly for this case. Maybe American nuns are all cuddly and SJWey, but Irish nuns are synonymous with abuse of every kind - up to and including slavery (as recently as 1996).

You’re using the wrong search terms, obviously.
