For a concept that seems like it’d be impossible to screw up, this is just a disappointment.

Yeah, just look at the vehicles people buy. A Santa Fe, for instance, isn’t going to be made fun because it has a manual. Even a lot of “fun” cars aren’t necessarily all that fun, just fast, and that’s not the same thing. Those qualities might overlap, but not necessarily.

True. There used to be many objectively good reasons to buy a manual over an automatic. Most of those reasons are outdated nowadays.
