Didn’t see your original post on this. Nice car, and nice score.
I live on the outskirts of Philly and the public transportation here blows. However, I was amazed at how efficient Chicago and Boston both are. I think there are pockets of not terrible in the US, you just have to know where to look. Or maybe Philly is just on a whole new level of terrible and I don’t know how good…
Kia Stinger seems like it would be a solid choice. Anything from the GT model on up comes with the 365 HP engine which can keep up with the performance she got from the Audi.
Mini truckin needs to make a comeback.
I wonder, since you live in California, do views like that ever get “boring” to you? In Jersey we really don’t have cliffs overlooking the ocean, so I’m rather envious of that. I realize you don’t actually live where you took the shots, but you’re certainly closer to it than I am.
I’ve had one of these for a few years. It really comes in handy for me in the kitchen
Tom, you must be a better man than I. Which really shouldn’t be surprising given that this is your line of work. But I’ve never gotten a dealer to give me an itemized listing before walking in the door, and I’ve probably tried 25 dealers or so over the last few times I’ve bought a car.
This can fit in my driveway pretty easily. My favorite year and color too
I’m really not surprised. In the past 9 years I’ve bought a car from the following dealers: Toyota, Nissan, Mazda, Subaru, Honda. And really none of them knew the product or how to sell it.

She wants to go for a ride too...
I'm with you. It's just way too boy-racer for me. Put that drivetrain in the Insight or ILX body and now we're talking.
I’m minimalist. I don’t have any knick knacks. If an item doesn’t serve a purpose, I get rid of it/donate it. I figure if/when I ever move, that’s just less stuff to pack up. Yes, I lead a boring life.
I was never really a gelato fan until I bought some of that stuff on a whim. That is some goooood stuff.
Time for a pet peeve of mine. For whatever reason, kitchen cabinets that do not go to the ceiling really bug me. I know you couldn’t necessarily put 42-inch cabinets and go to the top on this particular kitchen ceiling (because it looks like a 10 foot ceiling), but still it just irks me for some reason. All of that is…
Haven’t seen that one before, but it seems to get good reviews. Good luck with it. The only thing I didn’t care for with our mattresses is that they’re pretty heavy to move around before they were unboxed. I imagine that king size was a bear to move.
I have two of these mattresses right now. Not sure which one you got, but I've been pretty damn happy with ours. The price is certainly right and they're comfier than pretty much any innerspring I've ever slept on.
Until you learn that the payments are late and the repo man keeps trying to take it. They can’t take what they can’t find.
I have a sign I put in my sidelite that reads “if you were not invited, please don’t ring the bell”. It works pretty well. Then again, so does someone seeing my mean looking 70 lb pitbull staring at them from the window next to the door. I don’t get many solicitors anymore.
How long will you have the Soul? I'm curious (if you get the turbo model) what the real world gas mileage is.
