What the shit. That’s genius.

I scanned this entire article before I actually read it, just looking for the general. Not in the first round, okay, but unable to crack the Top 16? Easily the worst defeat of General Tso’s entire career.
General Tso’s is basically Orange Chicken with hot pepper in it.
*checks airfare to St. Louis*
General Tso’s, to me, is the ultimate fake-Chinese food. It’s the Pepperoni Pizza of default “I’m getting Chinese” dishes. I’m amazed it didn’t go in the first round, much less make the list.
There is a place here in St. Louis (small family owned local chain I guess) that sells “Sygoons” which are pretty frickin’ awesome as a change of pace appetizer. Basically they are crab rangoon filled with buffalo chicken dip instead of the crab/cream cheese mixture.
We did get beef and broccoli on there, but yeah, you’re not the only one startled by the lack of General Tso’s.
1st: This is no surprise, and it’s only going to get worse for mechanics and the home wrench. Independent mechanics CAN get the software and CAN get the training and CAN invest in the tools to repair that one brand of cars, but why would they?
It’s my “Lair!”
This is the first design in a decade where I feel like Honda ‘gets it’. No garish vents or chunky-cheap lines, just a clean style with elegant details that compliment function and aren’t afraid to be a little cute.
My father was a Rambler man. I could own far more expensive vehicles, but I drive a Fit. I love it.
It looks like a chubby robot puffer fish with wheels. Hello Kitty and/or Pikachu livery would not be out of place.
So as an engineer and sometime scientist I completely fail to see the draw of Hydrogen other then maybe faster refills. It takes a lot more energy to make then it provides (in any technique or format I know of) and is an absolute pain in the ass to store or transport (and super dangerous to store or transport). I mean…
Put a NEMA 14-50 in your house and you can reach a SuperCharger in a Tesla, from any home in America.
I really don’t see how hydrogen will ever take over. Electrolysis is basically the only way to produce it that could be carbon free, and why would you decide to store that electricity in hydrogen if you can do it in a battery and skip all the conversion losses.
Hydrogen is the fuel of the future...and always will be.
I don’t know that I think pure hydrogen fuel cell is the future, but a fuel cell BEV makes sense. The battery can help to provide high demand power when needed and the fuel cell can cover most of the regular use. Kinda like a gas hybrid today where the ICE helps with peak loads while the electric system takes most…
I think batteries will improve greatly here soon, to the point where hydrogen won’t have a chance to compete down the road. I have no inside knowledge to this, mostly just guessing here... but basing it on how little real progress has been made to batteries for so long, that I believe real breakthroughs will come as…

“Dude” is better than “man” because it’s gender-neutral. I’m a dude, he’s a dude, she’s a dude, we’re all dudes.
