That’s only the USDM Yaris. Toyota actually builds two other models with the Yaris badge in Europe and Asia.

Outside of North America, they never stopped making the Yaris. It’s just here where we get the rebadged Mazda2.

The Vitz/Yaris are still the same old Toyota outside of North America; this would probably replace those models, but I don’t know if they would bother bringing it stateside.

I find that dealers are more likely to be up-front about used car OTD pricing. That said, I have gotten dealers to give me a price, just not their final lowest, on a new car, then negotiated some more discounts from there. But I have never gotten the best price without going in. And they usually do not want to send me…

The only time I’ve ever received that was a motorcycle dealership down here in Florida. The price I paid vs what they sent was literally <$10, they were so spot on. What a wonderful experience that place was!

Yeah Tom has written that a number of times, and I also have never gotten a dealer to give me that before showing up. I think Tom can get those because he’s in the biz.. but he forgets that us commoners don’t have his sway.
