Yes, I think all wheels have gotten too big, and sidewalls have gotten too small. Virtually every new car I see now I think to myself, I wonder what it would look like with smaller wheels.

I’m not saying this is a good idea (not my money), but an F01 7 series would at least make it look like you have money. Granted, you wouldn’t because used BMW, but it would look good parked there. So basically buy the BMW to park at the hangar, and keep the Corolla to commute back and forth.

Kia Stinger seems like it would be a solid choice.  Anything from the GT model on up comes with the 365 HP engine which can keep up with the performance she got from the Audi.

I know you asked this question a month ago, but yes, there should be ample parking in the Navy Yard.  Nothing in the yard is on any type of meter, there should be plenty of street parking, and there are a few lots that should be open that you can park in as well that are within a short walking distance.

Patrick was on the right track, but I’d go up one with the BMW. I’m sure you can find an early M6 convertible in the appropriate price range.

Mazda 5. It’s wagon enough, and can be had with a manual. It’s like a slightly bigger Mazda 3.  This is the proper answer.

Wow, now that does sound like a tasty recipe. My go to for years has been Apple Pie by Grandma Ople. I use the sugar/butter liquid from this recipe with a Basic Flaky Pie Crust. Maybe I’ll give this one a whirl and see what I think.  Thanks for the link to the recipe!
