This ad has me bawling. I helped take care of my sister after she gave birth when I was 25 years old... I work in the healthcare field (specifically sexual and reproductive health), and I had NO idea the level of pain, discomfort, and suffering new moms have after vaginal delivery. My sister was in so much pain and

That's dedication to the bone.

+1 for your excellent use of the word boneless

When I was in college, I took a road trip across the country to hook up with this girl that a high school friend of mine wanted me to meet at his school. To save money, I rode with this girl from my freshman comp class who was going the same place to meet her boyfriend. This particular girl and I didn’t get along at

Shortly after we started dating, my husband and I went to the FL Keys, partly to see how well we got along when traveling together, but yeah, mainly to bone. It was...not the best trip I have ever been on. We ran out of condoms during the middle of the most colossal storm, so he decided it was IMPERATIVE that he dash

In high school, I rode the train to a neighboring state and stayed with an EXTREMELY sheltered friend for a few days out in the country in the hopes we would meet up with our other friends from camp who lived near her, one of whom I had slept with and was trying to again. Sadly, our meet-up plans kept falling through a

I’ve recently discovered that this is my problem.

I am a loud typer...

Good God I hope that’s true. Because I beat on keyboards like they’re damn IBM Selectrics. I learned to pound keys on manual typewriters and haven’t lightened up since.

I feel like there’s less turnaround time between recycled trends nowadays, though, so probably it won’t last long. Probably just another sign that the end is nigh.

Isn’t it maybe a bit silly to think that any pair of shoes on this planet is really worth $1,700?

Absolutely hideous and that was before I saw the person attached to them

i feel like the heel would make the strap between your big & second (??? does that toe have a name?????) toe dig riiiiiiiiiiight in there and feel awful. plus, what if the pre-designed wrap doesn’t wrap nicely around your leg, then you just have a weird gap-y snake circle around your lower shin.

I like them. The heel isn’t too high I and love me an ankle strap. I would not however, pay $1700 for them.

They’re not OK, to me, because it is still WINTER. Asking me to think about sandals when I’m trying to plot which ankle boots I can cop on ‘end of season’ sales and still wear for 4 months.....it’s very dissonant. Ask me later.

Snake wrap around you say?

I hate to be the one to say it, but based on what rich people have been wearing on their feet, I think the days of the sensible block heel may be numbered. All the Kardashians have been sporting skinny heels, and I’ve noticed a lot of kitten heels afoot. Many styles wouldn’t look amiss on one Ms. Carrie Bradshaw.

“I felt like I was standing alone in a dark room hoping someone would turn on the light.”  This is EXACTLY it!!! I’ve never had anyone else capture the essence of what my experience feels like! Whoa!
