Im looking forward to this movie. I’ve read the book a few times over and as a husband, parent, amateur racer and someone who now has an 11 year old German Shepherd (his birthday is today), the story resonates with me on a number of levels.

I feel like it’s the old dog telling his life story.

Spoiler alert: He heats up the dog’s food in a crock pot.

I am SO IN for this. I loved the book, and really hope the movie can hold up.
