LOVE IT. This is the first Corvette I've found aesthetically pleasing since the C4.

I'm thinking I like it. Dare I say it? This might be the best-looking 'Murican crossover since the Pacifica, IMHO. (Yeah, screw you, I liked the Pacifica. Too bad Chrysler had no idea how to sell it.)

I have a VHS copy of a Jam Handy film... It was a promotional bit designed to prep dealers and salesmen to sell the new '65 Chevrolet products. It is absolutely brilliant in its campiness.
Not quite 2012, but they did bring it into the new millennium...
I was gonna post it if you didn't...
The system in my Pacifica used to annoy the SHIT out of me. I don't mind the little yellow horseshoe light telling me to check my tires, but on that car, in addition to the yellow idiot light, the system took over the Driver Information Center, which told stuff like fuel economy and temperature and like that. It irked…
Very early '70s Ford LTD. In the first Superman movie with Christopher Reeve, Lois Lane drove a red Ford sedan like that. It got swallowed up by the San Andreas Fault or something. No idea why I remembered that; it's kinda weird what sticks in your head when you're 9.
I kinda liked my '05 Pacifica. Decent looking for a not-a-minivan-but-not-an-SUV, handled a whole ton better than any of the pig-on-stilts minivans my wife has had, great interior, great climate controls, great in the snow, hauled us with our 4 kids when necessary, folded the seats and hauled lots of crap when…
Back in high school, a friend's sister had one of these. As I recall, it was a miserable, rattling crapcan. Dunno if it was just hers, or maybe it had something to do with the fact that we beat the shit out of it...
Holy cow, I think he's gonna make it...
What is it they say about PA? "Pittsburgh to the west and Philly to the east... with Alabama in the middle." Or words to that effect.
oops, i didn't read far enough into the comments. i said essentially the same thing up there somewhere.
when i read, "Am I going to start shitting myself uncontrollably when I get the chance to drive it?"
that generation right there is my favorite Camaro... sweet.
OMG. Thomas the Tank Engine meets Edgar Allan Poe...
Hahahahaha. Boobahs used to scare the SHIT outta my kids.
Funny, I was thinking Karmann-Ghia and Studebaker before I saw your comment...
Jump in, man. That stuff doesn't have a shelf life. If you can clean it up and the parts are all there, it'll run. The track I use is Atlas brand from the mid '60s. The cars range from about 1963 to current stuff.
